Boodie – feelgood hoodie

NAH-ja! is currently working with Studio STRRR and the fashion designers of New Order of Fashion, Anouk van der EL, Valentine Tinchant and Grietje Schepers to develop the Boodie, the feel-good hoodie.

Feel free and secure
The Boodie is a comfort vest that provides a dampening effect for light and sound. Our mission is an inclusive society in which everyone can enjoy social activities, whether to visit a theatre, concert, festival or visit a shopping mall, or just for at home. The possibilities of wearing the Boodie is endless, because of the one size fits all design.

Design Inspiration
From Boodie to Hoodie, from vest to pouch!

Feel good pouch
The Boodie is a kangaroo rat that lives in Australia. We have integrated the kangaroo pouch into the Boodie to enhance the feel-good feeling. You can intertwine your hands in the pouch and rest them on your stomach. This often makes it easier to stay with yourself, breathe calmly and feel the warmth.
At the overstimulation conference, occupational therapists said that children with autism can benefit from wearing a pressure vest or a weighted blanket. These aids can be worn under the Boodie, out of sight of anyone!

Positive Vibes
When you slip into your Boodie Hoodie, think of the boodie’s resilience. Just as the boodie adapted to changing circumstances, so can we face life’s challenges with determination and grace.

Pockets of Joy
The hoodie’s front pocket mirrors the boodie’s pouch.
Imagine carrying small soft treasures—a seashell, a lucky charm, or even a tiny marsupial figurine—in that cozy pocket.

Boodie, the feelgood Hoodie isn’t just a piece of clothing; it’s a reminder of the interconnectedness of your inner self and the outer world. As you wear it, embrace the spirit of the burrowing bettong—the tenacity to thrive even in adversity. Let’s celebrate the boodie and cherish our shared planet.

So next time you zip up your Boodie Hoodie, remember the little critter that inspired it—a creature that burrows deep into our hearts. 🌿🦘🧡
